For Coaches

The Fair Game Project is building a unified coaching ecosystem across Omaha Public Schools and the broader community. Starting with basketball, football and soccer in 2026, Fair Game Project is creating structured opportunities for school coaches, grassroots leaders, independent trainers, and community-based organizations to collaborate and elevate standards for boys and girls from elementary through high school. The goal is to help recruit, retain, and improve coaches that work with the young people in our community.

Our training philosophy centers on long-term athlete development, skill progression, positive coaching practices, accountability, and character formation. Strong systems produce strong athletes, and strong systems begin with prepared coaches. Fair Game Project offers coaching clinics, certification pathways, leagues, tournaments, academies, performance resources, and intentional grassroots program support designed to strengthen local teams and organizations. Coaches aligned with Fair Game Project standards gain visibility, access to shared resources, and connection to a broader sports ecosystem.

School and community coaches will:

  • Have increased access to gym or field space through approved partnerships
  • Have opportunities to serve in paid coaching or event role
  • Have access to clinics, showcases, and district initiatives
  • And more as Fair Game Project expands

Community coaches who join us as a Fair Game Project Coach Member and bring their team/s or organization into the association network will be eligible to apply for grants to help cover costs of equipment, uniforms, and other team expenses.

Why Donate?

The Fair Game Project is building the future of youth sports across Omaha Public Schools and the broader community. This is not about one team, one season, or one facility. It is about creating a unified sports association that connects schools, grassroots programs, coaches, families, community partners, and –most importantly—50,000+ students into a sustainable, accessible system that did not previously exist.

Your donation helps establish long-term infrastructure, expand access across all sports, strengthen leadership development, support grassroots growth, increase visibility, and remove barriers that limit opportunity. That, in turn, builds school pride and engagement, healthier students, schools, and communities.

We are designing systems that outlast individuals. Systems that raise standards. Systems that create trust. When you give, you are not funding an event. You are investing in a generation.

Help us build what our community has never had.
